• What are the benefits of installing a Solar PV System with SPD?

Once your solar PV system is installed, you'll own the system, meaning that you are in control of your own free source of electricity that is exempt from VAT and inflation (RPI). In addition, you will receive  "Feed In Tariff" payments, which are TAX FREE and RPI linked.

 

 

• How much electricity do I use on average?

An average house with 3 bedrooms can typically use between 4000 kWh, and 6000 kWh (units) a year, or around 12-17 kWh per day. A single person is likely to use around 3000 kWh – 4000kWh of electricity.

 

 

• What is a Unit or kWh (kilowatt Hour) of electricity?

A unit or kWh (Kilowatt hour) relates to 1000 watts used in an hour. A mWh, or milliwatt hour is 1 million watts used in an hour. It is how electricity providers measure electricity and is the unit they use on an electricity bill.

 

 

• How much electricity will my Solar PV system generate?

As a rough example, a 1kWp system should generate between 800 kWh and 1000 kWh a year. There are however many factors that affect this, including the angle and size of your roof, the direction it faces and if there is any shading.

 

 

• How much does a Solar PV system cost?

A complete solar PV system will range between £4,500 and £12,000 depending upon the size and type of system that is suitable for your property. We provide a full, no obligations, free assessment of your house in order to determine the exact cost of your solar PV system.

 

 

• How will  the Solar PV system integrate with my current system?
