2) Module Layout - 15 mins
Our technical in-house assessor then designs a module layout showing you and the Energy assessor the most logical, but more importantly, beneficial design for a Solar PV system on your roof. The design will also show you the maximum number of panels you can have on your property.
3) Home Consultation Survey - 15 mins
Our fully trained energy consultant visits your home to conduct a detailed survey; he/she will take various photographs of your roof to create a photo diary, and to confirm the original design and measurements taken from Google Earth are accurate.
4) Home consultation (explanation of Solar PV) - 25 mins
Once the outdoor survey is complete we go back inside your home and check the most suitable place for your new inverter to be placed. From there we will explain and discuss with you how the technology works, the different brands of panels available and how the panels can be optimised in your home; remember the PV panel creates crude electricity from daylight and the inverter is where the magic happens, this small device then converts DC to AC which is used in everyday electrical use.
5) Home Consultation (your investment) - 30 mins

7) Summary - 10 mins
The energy consultant concludes the visit answering any questions you have and leaves you with all the necessary information and paperwork in our branded SPD folder.
